Anne Boleyn Faux Pearl Choker Necklace 40cm
The Anne Boleyn pendant is made from metal and has three drop faux pearls attached to the bottom of a large letter ‘B’.
It is 16" (40cm) Long.
The necklace is mounted on a fold-over information card, which has a portrait image of Anne Boleyn wearing a similar necklace on the front. On the reverse is a brief history of the pendant and how pearl jewellery was popular in Tudor times.
This exquisite necklace is a replica of the ‘B’ initial worn by Anne Boleyn and seen in many of her portraits.
Pearls were one of the most popular items of jewellery in the Tudor era and were worn by both Anne Boleyn and her daughter Queen Elizabeth I. Pearls were worn in string, as a single pearl or a combination of both.
